Head Coach: Greg Rodi

Players to watch: Brandon Liepins – Jr. , 3, Guard– Zach Anzells – Sr., 5, Guard– Michael Greenwood – Sr., 1, Forward

Season outlook: We are a young group when it comes to our varsity experience. What we lack in on court experience, we make up for in effort and commitment to our roles. Our season trajectory will depend on how quickly our young players adapt to the varsity game.

Players to watch: Ben Huth Senior #5 Guard– Mike Jones Junior #15 Forward– Kieron Smith Junior #13 Guard

Season outlook: The Magics are young and athletic. Senior guard Ben Huth brings leadership to a team that only returns 2 varsity players. We are excited to compete this season and look forward to seeing how this team grows.

Players to watch: Trent Wininger, JR. , #5, SF– Leo Gerber, SR. , Forward– Ben Firestine, SR. , PG

Season outlook: A new and developing team. From the coaching staff to the players, we are working hard together to pursue our best.

Head Coach: Todd Taylor

Players to watch: Tim Mitchell, Jr. #2 PG– Bryce Smith, Jr. #3 SG– Matt Pelfrey, Sr. #30 Post

Season outlook: Have some key returners led by 2nd Team All-Suburban, Tim Mitchell PG. League looks to be very balanced with Revere and Tallmadge returning the most. Better bring your “A” game each and every night because anyone can knock anyone off this year.

Players to watch: Hunter Winston, #13, Jr. Forward– Maddox Albright #14, Jr. Guard– Noah Radigan #11, So. Guard

Season outlook: The Hornets are looking to 4 Senior starters from the 2021-22 Squad and are looking for leadership and scoring from Winston and Albright. Highland will rely of contributions from 2 other juniors and 4 sophomores.

Players to watch: Chris Muntean, SR, #1, Guard– Baron Bania, SR, #14, Guard– Carson Banks, JR, #4, Guard

Season outlook: We are looking forward to a successful season. We have several returning varsity players. We are counting on our senior leadership.

Players to watch: Gavin Leslie (Senior,#22, Forward)– Tyrel Ellington (Junior, #11, Guard)– Grant Leslie (Junior, #4, Guard)

Season outlook: This season we are young and inexperienced, but excited for the challenge to compete with great teams. We will bring energy every game and continue to build a culture of brotherhood, and family on and off the basketball court. We are very excited about our group of guys this year.

Players to watch: Ty Hurst, 2023, 1, PG– Collin Dixon, 2023, 2, G/F– Caiden McCullough, 2023, 42, G…….Kaden Davis, 2025, 10, G/F

Season outlook: This is my first season as head coach for the blue devils. I’m expecting great things this season. We have experience coming back (3 all league players from last year) and great depth. Looking forward to getting started!

National Conference

Head Coach: Steve Mehalik

Players to watch: Chase Garito (Sr./33/F/C)– Luke Skaljac (Jr./3/PG)– Brady Ganley (SO/1/G)

Season outlook: We lost a lot of skill and experience from last year’s team but have 2 really good players returning in Chase & Luke. We have several candidates to help fill the void but it may take us awhile to truly gel into the finished product that we want to see. Fun, hard working group though.

Head Coach: Thomas Stockard

Players to watch: Michael Steel, 6’7″ Senior Forward– Tino Yli-Junnila, 6’4″ Junior Guard– Luke Brennan, 6’4″ Senior Forward

Season outlook: Hudson boys are bringing back a lot of experience and size for the 2022-2023 season. The Explorers had a very successful summer and guys committed to getting better. We are very deep and could potentially play 9-10 guys on a regular basis. We have some size, some shooters, some athletes, some tough kids, so it’s a nice blend of guys this year.

Head Coach: Dominique Sanders

Players to watch: Landon Naylor Senior #1 Guard– Mitchell Wiechecki 21/Isaac Cherry 10. Both 6’7 Seniors bigs getting recruited– Liam Gopalakrishna Senior #23 Guard

Season outlook: Returning 8 seniors followed by a Sophomore and two juniors. Excited for these young men to take the next step and that’s to compete for a conference championship. We are big, physical. fast and will go as deep as 9 guys.

Players to watch: Jadallah Suleiman Junior– Nate Sawyer Senior– Jake Michalak Senior

Season outlook: We have had an outstanding off season. We bout back six letter winners and should be highly competitive this year.

Head Coach: Dave Close

Players to watch: Titus Baskerville Sr #4 Point Guard– AJ Pestello Sr #11 Center– Nick Timberlake Sr #12 Guard– Reece Raymond-Smith Jr #0 Guard

Season outlook: We return some experience from a team that finished strong. We need to build on that finish and expect an improved version of last year. The league is by for the toughest it’s ever been, from top to bottom. Brecksville and Wadsworth are likely the top two teams but everyone will be tough.

Head Coach: Phil Schmook

Players to watch: Adam Williams point guard senior– Jake Bond Senior guard– Brennan Hopp Senior wing

Season outlook: We have an experienced group returning. We have a high number of strong guards that can shoot the ball very well. If we can defend and rebound the ball we will battle with every team in the league.

Season outlook: The Suburban League will be very competitive this season with many teams returning several players. Every night should be incredibly competitive, and we look forward to the opportunity to compete with these great programs.
