American Conference

Season outlook: We have a lot of new faces to our Varsity program this year. Our strength will be our guard play. We hope to take a step forward competitively this year.

Players to watch: Trent Wininger Sr. #5 G/F– Scooby Stanford Jr. #2 PG/G– Gabe Mansel Jr. #1 G/F
Season outlook: the Copley are looking to come together and establish a new team identity after graduating 4 starters from the 2022-23 team. They will look for leadership from returning starter Trent Wininger and 6th man Scooby Stanford.

Season outlook: Looking forward to a competitive Suburban League where you must bring your “A” game each and every night. We are excited to return 8 letter winners including 7 seniors and hope that experience will help in those tight contest throughout the season. Seniors Drew Huffman and Tim Mitchell have had a tremendous off season and are committed to attending Ohio Christian University on scholarship.
Head Coach: Tanner Houska (year 1)
Players to watch: Hunter Winston (Senior, 13, Forward)– Maddox Albright (Senior, 2, Wing)– Landon Sooy (Junior, 10, PG)
Season outlook: The Hornets return SLA POY, Hunter Winston, along with SLA 2nd team wing, Maddox Albright. Highland brings back 8 letter winners and look to build on the experience in Coach Houska’s first year.

Players to watch: Carson Banks – sr. – #4 – guard– Conner Groce- sr.- #11- guard– Mason Aquino – jr. #1 – guard
Season outlook: We have a mix of returning players and newcomers. There will be a lot of parity in the league.

Season outlook: The league is going to be a grind each night. We got a lot of depth this season and a lot of returning players with experience. Looking forward to seeing us compete each night and continue to get better.
National Conference
Head Coach: Steve Mehalik
Players to watch: Luke Skaljac (SR – #3 – PG)– Junior Kambomba (SR – #21 – G)– Brady Ganley (JR – #1 – G)
Season outlook: We have a lot to figure out with some significant losses from last year’s team (including 1st Team All SL Chase Garito). We have some nice pieces but it will take some time for everyone to figure out how to play with each other. Should be a very fun group to watch play!

Players to watch: Nolan Yanak (Senior, 11, Forward)– Jayden Carlton (sophomore, 24, guard)– Hunter Chokan (Senior, 3, guard)
Season outlook: Hudson Boys Basketball team will have a young roster this season, but expects to rely on the competitive nature of the 4 seniors Nolan Yanak, Hunter Chokan, Reece Chokan, and Fritz Trautman. The Explorers expect to be solid defensively and unselfish at the offensive end to help them compete in a traditionally strong Suburban League.

Players to watch: Trevor Turnball, Jr, 3, Guard– Jason Janosek, Sophomore, n/a, Guard– Anthony Coneglio, Senior, na, Forward
Season outlook: Young team with a ton of athleticism. We will look to defend in many different ways while pushing the tempo offensively.

Season outlook: The team has worked very hard this off season. We have strong Senior Leadership, and a deep roster.

Season outlook: Team is adapting to my style of play after playing for Coach DeCesare the past 8 years. We are looking to play fast and physical.
