Boys Golf SL Tournament Results
The 2025 Suburban League Boys Golf season concluded last week after four exciting tournaments, showcasing talented high school golfers from both the American and National Conferences. Across the season, players demonstrated skill, consistency, and sportsmanship, making this year’s competition one to remember.
Tournament Highlights:
Tournament 1 – Pine Hills Golf Club, Hinckley, OH
The season kicked off at Pine Hills, where Highland claimed the American Conference team title and Hudson topped the National Conference. Jack Skidmore of Revere shot a 79 to lead the American Conference, while Ben Fauver of Hudson carded a 69 to take medalist honors in the National Conference.
Tournament 2 – Weymouth Country Club, Medina, OH
The second tournament saw Highland repeat as American Conference champions, with Brecksville-Broadview Heights taking the National Conference title. Tommy Kinder of Revere and Michael Caza of Highland tied at 78 in the American Conference, while Ryan Mallis of Nordonia led the National Conference with a 76.
Tournament 3 – Windmill Lakes Golf Club, Ravenna, OH
At Windmill Lakes, Highland again won the American Conference, while Hudson reclaimed the National Conference title. Jaxon Turner of Roosevelt led the American Conference with a 75. In the National Conference, Ty Pickard of Brecksville and Dexter James of Hudson tied with a 75. A season highlight came when Andrew Ash of Revere made a spectacular hole-in-one on the par-3 12th hole from 186 yards using a 5-iron.
Tournament 4 – Goodpark Golf Club, Akron, OH
The final tournament saw Copley take the American Conference championship and Brecksville-Broadview Heights capture the National Conference title. Medalists for the day were Hayden Hoyt of Highland, shooting 76 in the American Conference, and Ben Fauver of Hudson, who again led the National Conference with a 69.
Season Champions:
After four competitive tournaments, Theodore Roosevelt emerged as the 2025 American Conference champions, while Brecksville-Broadview Heights claimed the National Conference crown. Both schools demonstrated consistent team play and individual excellence throughout the season.
