Boys Golf Tournament 1-4 Results
American Conference
Aurora opened the tournament schedule with a 309 at Goodpark. Nick Pollak led the team with a 73, followed by Dylan Lancaster’s 75. Revere finished second with a 319, highlighted by Tommy Kinder’s conference medalist round of 72. Kenston earned third with a 328 as Hunter Yates shot 79 and Owen Altman added an 82.
Revere claimed the team victory at Seneca with a 312. Kinder produced the lowest individual score recorded in either conference across the four tournaments, shooting 65. Andrew Ash contributed a 75 to Revere’s winning effort. Aurora placed second with a 317, while Mayfield took third with a 330 behind Luca Nicolli’s 78 and Paxton Dhillon’s 83. Kenston’s Yates shot 74 to share the conference runner-up score with Pollak.
At Windmill, Aurora’s depth stood out as Pollak, Brady Allenick, and Lancaster each shot 76 to share medalist honors. Jackson Sarver added a 79 as Aurora finished with a 307. Twinsburg earned second with a 332, led by Alexander Barnes’ 78 and Nathan Kimball’s 79. Mayfield followed with a 333, with Ryan Maloney contributing an 80.
Twinsburg continued its strong finish to the season by placing second at Pine Hills with a 322. Kimball shot 73, while Barnes and Cale Anderson each added an 81. Aurora won with a 318 behind Pollak’s medalist round of 72, Sarver’s 79, and Lancaster’s 80. Revere placed third with a 332, with Kinder shooting 73.
Other conference teams also produced noteworthy performances. Copley’s Chase Filomena shot 79 at both Seneca and Pine Hills. Nordonia’s Luther Lechner finished with a 76 at Pine Hills, his lowest round of the series. Barberton recorded its best team total at Seneca with a 348, led by Axel Danes’ 82 and John Kefalos’ 86.
National Conference
Hudson began the series with a 287 at Goodpark. Ben Fauver earned medalist honors with a 68, while Dexter James and Jerry Du each shot 71 and Isaac Mikolay added a 77. Medina placed second with a 319, led by Declan West’s 72. Stow-Munroe Falls took third with a 320, receiving a 79 from Cullen Broghammer and rounds of 80 from Oliver Huff and Joey Reitz.
At Seneca, Hudson posted a 293 behind Mikolay’s 72, Fauver’s 73, and rounds of 74 from James and Barrett Atchison. Stow-Munroe Falls moved into second with a 302. Huff led Stow with a 72, while Gavin Schneider and Lucas Cutlip each shot 76. Brecksville-Broadview Heights earned third with a 310, highlighted by Evan Latarski’s 74 and Zak Kuscevic’s 77. Medina’s Trent Riedel captured individual medalist honors with a 71.
Windmill featured a close team competition, with Hudson shooting 301 and Medina finishing at 302. Du led Hudson with a 74, followed by James at 75 and Fauver and Luke Chluda at 76. Riedel earned his second consecutive medalist finish with a 69, while West added a 75 and Johnny Quien shot 77 for Medina. Highland took third with a 314, led by Hayden Hoyt’s 76 and Trip Konopka’s 78.
Hudson completed its tournament sweep at Pine Hills with a 306. Fauver shot 74, Atchison added a 76, and James and Du each finished at 78. Medina earned another second-place finish with a 313 as Riedel shot 71 for his third consecutive medalist honor. Stow-Munroe Falls placed third with a 316, led by Carter Edwards’ 75. Kuscevic shot 73 for Brecksville-Broadview Heights to earn the National Conference runner-up score.
Strong individual rounds extended throughout the conference. North Royalton’s Patrick Mansbery shot 74 at Seneca, while teammate Ryan Wilson finished with a 76 at Pine Hills. Solon’s Avi Gupta opened with a 74 at Goodpark and closed with a 77 at Pine Hills. Wadsworth recorded its best team score at Seneca with a 321, receiving rounds of 79 from Chase Otradovec and Ajay Hill.
