Boys Golf Tournament #3 Results

Suburban League Boys Golf returned Saturday with teams competing at Windmill Lakes Golf Course in Ravenna. On the American Conference side, Liam Curtis (Kent Roosevelt) was the lone medalist, shooting 70. Highland won the team competition, beating second place Aurora and Kent Roosevelt by 8 strokes. Aurora was awarded second place points after winning the tiebreaker vs Kent Roosevelt.  On the National Conference side, Brian Myers (Wadsworth), Ben Skripac (Stow), and David Swab (North Royalton) all shared medalist honors, shooting 71. In the team competition, Wadsworth (301) edged out Hudson (305) for first place. 

The team results are extremely close in both conferences heading into the final tournament. Aurora (19) holds a narrow lead over Highland (18) and Kent Roosevelt (15), while Wadsworth (19) holds a slim lead over Hudson (18) and Stow (17). 

Tournament #4 (season finale worth 40% of the point totals) will be September 29th at Good Park.
