2024 Boys Lacrosse Season Preview
Head Coach: Kevin Goehring
Players to watch: Evan Huth, 2024, 28, Goalie– Carter Oschman, 2024, 5, Middie– Christian Rowe, 2024, 3, Middie
Season outlook: The Copley Boys’ Lacrosse team will be road warriors this year, playing 14 of 15 games away with 1 neutral site game for senior night while the stadium is under construction. New Defensive Coordinator, Jacob Sheffer and new Offensive Coordinator, Andy Ayoup have made immediate positive impacts to the team. The team only graduated 4 players in 2023 and have many players returning with significant playing experience, as well as freshman that will look to make an immediate impact.

Players to watch: Jack Howard Sr. 11 Attack– Ben Fearn Sr. 31 Defense– Connor Luipold Sr. 3 Midfield
Season outlook: Team is returning all starters from 2023 team that went 11-7, 4 of the 7 losses was by one goal. This group of seniors (12 of them) were freshmen when the program started in 2021. Team is looking to compete for SL title and making a run in the playoffs.

Players to watch: Scott Maxwell, 2024, 4, Attack– Alex Simms, 2025, 18, Attack/Midfield– Chase Bell, 2026, 8, Midfield
Season outlook: We are very excited about getting back into the competition part of our season. Our guys have been working very hard and I feel we have picked right back up where we left off last season, so expecting us to be ready as the first game rolls around and to continue to quickly improve.

Season outlook: The 2024 season is a fresh slate for the program as the inaugural coaching staff has redefined the culture and what it means to play for Solon Lacrosse. The talented & charismatic roster has embraced the change, worked tirelessly, and embodied the spirit of brotherhood. We are ready to make some noise in our conference and show what it means to Fear The Impact.

Season outlook: Our team is looking to build on a much improved 2023 season. We return a lot talent at attack and close defense along with welcoming a large freshmen class. The defense is once again looking to be our strength as we look to continue our girtty style of play.

Season outlook: This will be our toughest season yet. Being two time league champs, the target on our back has never been bigger. Returning a lot of veteran players on the defensive side of the ball, but graduated a lot of offensive production from last year. We’ll have depth at the middie position like we haven’t had before, but looking to see which one of our role players from last year steps up to the plate to produce this year.
