Head Coach: Chris Radtke

Players to watch: Sophomore Luke McGovern returns as the reigning Suburban League champion in the 100 m dash, and his potential truly knows no bounds. Luke’s speed, power, work ethic and an uncompromising competitiveness will take him far.–Junior Quincy John is coming off a stellar MVP season in 2024, where he led the team not only in points but also in passion and positivity. A fierce competitor, Quincy has proven he can go toe-to-toe with the very best sprinters in the highly competitive Suburban League.– Junior Nathan Eminian had an impressive year on the cross country team and hopes to follow that up with standout performances in the distance events on the track.

Season outlook: The Greenmen are gearing up for an outstanding season, driven by a group of skillful and fast returning athletes who are ready to lead the charge with their dedication and commitment to excellence. We will embrace the energy of a younger team this year with many of our underclassmen poised to shine after gaining valuable experience last season. With speed, teamwork, and a relentless drive, this group is ready to make a big impact. Couple that with our returning varsity distance runners, jumpers and throwers and the future looks bright for Greenmen Track and Field.

Players to watch: DJ Owens / Senior / 110 Hurdles– Josiah Wright / Senior / Discus

Season outlook: I am expecting big things out of returning lettermen Donny O’Brien, Blake Kurtz, Spartacus Petrie, and Terrean Bailey in the mid distance sprints and long distance relays. All four of these young men have worked extremely hard in the off season and I am looking forward to seeing that hard work pay off on the track this season. This year we are bringing in a very athletic and talented freshman class which will be anchored by Angelo Gotto, Clee Thompson, Noah Wright and Da’Vieon Ingol. Last year both Angelo Gotto and Clee Thompson were state qualifiers in 8th grade in the long jump and 200m hurdles at the 8th grade state meet.
