Season outlook: Entering year two together, we’re excited about the standard and culture we have set. The kids are starting to lead more and set hire expectation for themselves and it’s led to a great off-seasson in the weight room and start to fall camp. Our guys are stronger and more confident – we’re starting to see that translate to their play on the field. We’re excited to see our growth with the experience we have returning.
Head Coach: Mike Hay
Players to watch: Noah Robinson (Sr, 15, DE/TE)– Robbie Reid (Jr, 5, DB/WR)– Caleb Reifsnyder (Sr, 1, WR)
Season outlook: Many first year starters, injuries and a tough schedule all contributed to a rough 1-4 start a year ago, but finishing 4-1 to get back to 5-5 was a big boost heading into the offseason. With many returning starters, the expectations in the locker room are very high. A strong senior class of 24 and 7-8 juniors who received significant playing time last year has this group believing in each other. The schedule, the league and the region are very tough as always, but this is a group that won’t back down and are looking to play their best when it matters most. Goals of competing for a league championship, hosting and winning in the playoffs are being talked about, but everyone knows it must come with a one game at a time mentality. It is a very tight group of hard working upper classmen who love the game, love their teammates and understand the value of hard work. We are looking forward to seeing if that translates to more wins this season.

Season outlook: Team’s impact players Nordonia returns a very deep senior class for the 2024 campaign trying to improve upon the program’s three consecutive 8-win regular seasons. Offensively, leading rusher Rocco DeLorenzo returns alongside dual-threat quarterback Ben Chesser. Other experienced senior RBs Liam Kountz and transfer Khylan Osbey make for a stable of Knights that can run the football this season behind three returning offensive linemen in center Grant Lefeld, and Gabe Hart and DK Liverpool. Wide receivers Danny Ours, Owen Smotek, and Sam Collins also contributed last season to round out an expected balanced attack. Defensively, experienced Jordan Jackson will anchor the defensive line in front of returning linebackers Caleb Aiken and Jordan Byrd. Defensive backs Vince Natali and Blake Allen have high expectations in the secondary. Teams outlook Nordonia has three straight 8-win regular seasons and has their sights set on finally surpassing those third places finishes in the Suburban League National. With key contributors returning at all position groups and some talented newcomers contributing, Nordonia will be in a position to compete to take that next step.
