2022 Girls Soccer Season Preview
American Conference
Head Coach: Domenica McClintock
Players to watch: 7, Senior Bailey McGee, Midfielder– 2, Senior Brigid Boyle, Midfield/Defense– 15 Charlotte Hart, Defender
Season outlook: Lost some veteran leadership and we have a good you g group coming into the program. We are hoping to have each their skills blend for a fantastic season overall.
Head Coach: Matt Miller
Players to watch: Alexis Haynes (#0, So., GK)– Gracie Cunningham (#7, Sr.)– Ava Long (#10, Sr.)
Season outlook: This is a young and hungry group of competitors with a lot of fight. They are looking to build off the improvements of last season.
Head Coach: Wally Senk
Players to watch: Emma Stransky (7, SR, FW/MD)– Ashley Kerekes (SR, 22, FW/MD)– Allie Arnold (SR, 20, FW/MD)
Season outlook: High expectations for an experienced group returning 10 of 11 starters from a season ago where they were Suburban League and District Champions.

Players to watch: Morgan Bowe Freshman 10 Forward– Sonia Hammonds 12 Senior CM– Emma Johnson 3 Sophomore CB
Season outlook: Very excited for this season .We have a strong group of returning players and adding some solid freshman to the team. We looking to find our success through hard work and discipline. Looking forward to a great season

Players to watch: Jillian Miller (20, Junior, CM)– Luisa Fragnoli (9, Sophomore, CB)– Grace Shondel (14, Freshman, RW)
Season outlook: Highland Women’s Soccer has an excellent combination of youth and returning talent with tremendous depth this season. With a team emphasis on bonding and chemistry, they are looking to have fun, create life long memories, and grow as soccer players and human beings.

Players to watch: 8, Senior, Midfield– 30, Senior, Defense– 17, Freshman, Forward
Season outlook: We have a good mix of experienced players with younger players. We should be competitive this season despite making the jump up to D1. We have a number of freshmen and sophomores that are going to contribute a lot to our season.

Players to watch: Lea Parham #6 – Senior Forward– Abby Carbone #13 – Junior Midfield– Corinn Wolfgang #1 Senior Goalkeeper
Season outlook: The girls have worked really hard to learn both a new formation and a new style of play. Graduating a large senior class has led to some younger players having to step up into important roles with the guidance of the veteran players. We are hoping to improve a little each game and honing in on our strengths but keep developing other areas of the game as well.

Players to watch: Peyton Pierce, 8, Sophomore, Striker– Reagan Miele, 3, Senior, Striker/Defender– Olivia Greenbaum, 20, Senior, Defender
Season outlook: Exciting young group with quality senior leadership. Peyton Pierce was top scorer in her freshman year and poses a strong threat up front. Reagan Miele has been a dynamic player, instrumental in the team’s consistency while fellow captain, Olivia Greenbaum is at the heart of the defense.

Players to watch: Noelle Dubnicka , Sophomore, #4, CM– Summer Satterfield, Sophomore, #55, GK– Kayla Wonsick, Junior, #1, Forward
Season outlook: We will be very young after graduating 11 seniors. Our goalkeeping and solid young core should make us competitive in every game.

Players to watch: Leah Miller, 23, Junior, Defender– Alex Bottomley, 14, Senior, Midfield– Meredith Werner, 3, Sophomore, Forward
Season outlook: We are excited for the season. We are returning 7 starters and looking to build upon last season.

Season outlook: We have a solid team that can be very competitive against even very good competition. We hope to build confidence as the season builds and grow together as a team.

Season outlook: The Suburban League will be extremely competitive again this season. The conference is loaded with talented players and experienced coaches. There are no easy matches. We are excited to begin the 2022 season.
