American Conference
Head Coach: Jeremy Johnson
Players to watch: Johnny Green – 113lbs– Luke Green – 106lbs– Cole Walton – 165lbs
Season outlook: We are excited to kick our season off. The wrestlers put in a lot of work and dedication this summer. We return 2 state placers (Luke Green and Johnny Green) and 3 returning district qualifiers (Michael Kennedy, Gio Kaplan and Cole Walton).

Players to watch: Senior Emmett Cunningham -150lbs– Senior Bryson Croft 138lbs– Junior Gavin Long 132lbs
Season outlook: Very young team consisting of over half being hard working freshman and sophomores. Very excited for coming freshman Jackson Phillips. He is Barberton’s first ever junior high state champion last year as an eighth grader.

Season outlook: We are looking forward to continue to improve throughout the season. Our numbers have improved and we had productive off-season workouts.

Season outlook: We are looking forward to our upperclassmen improving on the success and experience gained last year. We also look for several sophomores to jump levels and help positively contribute to the varsity lineup.

Season outlook: Brecksville returns 7 state qualifiers (6 male / 1 female) and begins the 2023-24 season ranked #42 in the Nation.

Players to watch: Aiden Hays, Senior, 132-138lb– Adom Sharpley, Junior 120-126lb– Carmello Kolb, Freshman 106lb.
Season outlook: After graduating 10 seniors last year, we have a young team, 22 freshman. This is somewhat a rebuilding year with something to grow on. Looking for some other sophomore and juniors to step up and fill last year’s senior class.

Season outlook: On paper this is the most competitive team that we have had in quite some time. We have an experienced group and they are hungry for success. Hoping for great things this season.

Players to watch: Jaxon Joy Senior 150- 2 time state champion– Aaron Ries Senior 285 State runner-up– Jack Dinwiddie Junior 138 State 8th
Season outlook: Finished 5th in the state last year. 5 Returning state qualifiers. We have a mix of veterans and some new comers. We are excited to see the growth of the younger guys and how far our older guys can lead us.
